The Type F can soften and bend acrylic, organic board, PVC, and other compatible thermoplastic sheets. It is suitable for small signs, display components, holders, covers, and fabricated plastic parts.
It is designed for thermoplastic sheets from 2 to 4 mm thick, with a bend height of up to 100 mm. Using material outside this range can lead to uneven heating or an incomplete bend.
The operating temperature is approximately 200 C with a tolerance of plus or minus 5%. This controlled heat softens the bending line while limiting unnecessary heating of the surrounding sheet.
Yes. Its controlled heating supports consistent bends for repeated small-format parts. Using the same sheet thickness, heating time, bend position, and cooling method improves repeatability.
Keep the sheet clean, heat the bend line evenly, and avoid excessive temperature or exposure time. Form the sheet without forcing it and hold the angle until the acrylic cools and becomes rigid.
